Announcing the IES Training Course: Inspections. Estimates. Supplements.

I have been waiting a very long time to announce this and this is my very first time doing so publicly. For those who know me well, you know that this has been in the making for years.
I have long struggled with how to properly package myself to this industry in a way that can best serve my community as a whole… at scale. How to best fulfill my purpose in this industry in the most effective manner possible.
I have long strived to pour myself out to anyone who needed help. I currently receive between 20-50 Facebook PM’s per day, in addition to FB comments, text messages, emails, Instagram DM’s, Twitter messages, YouTube comments, website inquiries and phone calls. Although I can’t get back to each and every single one of them, many of you know that I almost kill myself trying to. Over 95% of that engagement has been done FOR FREE. With very limited monetization. It gives me joy, it brings me peace and it makes me happy. It’s what I love doing the most.
I spend hours every day on the phone or typing responses to contractors, mostly giving advice, free of charge to help contractors win. It is the number one passion of mine that provides true joy; being able to make a difference in the lives of business owners and their families.
I believe that I have figured out a way to help everyone who needs it from now on. I have been working on the vision for 2 years at least. And it will be a way for me to do so in much more depth, time, content and more than I possibly can do on a one-on-one basis. Although it isn’t free, many would agree that it almost is, for the overwhelming value that I’m providing. It’s important to me that everyone can access this… even the little guy.
If you follow Gary Vaynerchuk and his book (and his philosophy) “Jab, Jab, Jab… Right Hook”, I have been jabbing for years. This is my “Right Hook”. I’ve never been perfect and have made so many significant mistakes in my life (and believe me, those mistakes add value to what I’m doing now), but in preparation for this, I believe I did it the right way. And I believe that I’m doing it the right way now.
So here it goes… and I’m literally shaking with excitement and anticipation… I’m announcing for the first time: my IES Practitioner Certification Training Course. I’ve gone all-in… strictly on the subjects of Inspections. Estimates. Supplements. IES.
Now is your chance to gain access to my skills, knowledge and experience in these combined fields and become an IES Certified Practitioner.
I’m starting it out at an enrollment price that I feel is worth so much more. Much thought, debate and internal strife went into settling on the price… one of the hardest parts, literally. But the training course will always be a work in progress. Meaning, I will never stop adding to it to keep it current, relevant and producing the ability to help contractors win on a consistent basis.
The course will officially be released on June 4, 2018 at midnight. You can pre-enroll now at a $300 savings, only for the first 100 students. I expect this to sell out immediately. I’m going all-in to market it. Starting right here with this post.
Click the link below and let’s get you the tools you need to smash this industry. Let’s GOOOOOOOOOO! 👊👊👊💪💪💪😉

Meeting With Large Loss Adjuster

REAL VIDEO of my meeting with a large loss adjuster. I had already gone through an independent adjuster, then an engineer and then it was finally assigned to the large loss team. Finally, some REAL action! 🙂

Strategy. Consistency. Diligence. Dedication. And most importantly of all, putting in the HARD WORK… that’s REQUIRED… to WIN IN THIS GAME!

How To Use Building Codes For Higher Insurance Approvals

You say the insurance company should pay for it because of building code. WHICH BUILDING CODE? Let’s break that down. It actually matters a great deal. MAKE SURE YOU KNOW WHAT YOU’RE TALKING ABOUT! 😉

Believe it or not, “The Code Game” is a lot less complicated than you may think. We only really need to focus on a few codes from a few code books. And these codes can be accessed now online for free. Easily. There really is no need to let this stuff go over your head, like I used to do.

You can do this! YOU have what it takes to master these codes and use them as your secret weapon to win higher approval amounts.

In this video we discuss the various versions of the International Code Council (ICC) building codes: The International Building Code (IBC), The International Residential Code (IRC) and the International Energy Conservation Code (IECC). We also talk about how it works, city adoptions, etc.

How To Get A Supervisor To Remove The Adjuster

TRUE STORY and REAL PHONE CALL…

A Farmers adjuster tried using bullying and intimidation tactics to lowball his estimates on two different jobs. He threatened to send other contractors – his contractors – to do the job for less, if we were unable to work with his numbers (listen to his voice message).

This can be frustrating and discouraging. It can feel like you’re hitting a brick wall and you may be tempted to just accept the adjuster’s numbers and move on. But DON’T… Be willing to stick with it. Persevere! Put in the time and the effort. And PUT IN THE WORK!!!

Engineer Meeting – RAW VIDEO

We were out meeting with an engineer, sent by the insurance company. Notice how he started talking to me about coverage and policy. However, neither of us were permitted to talk about those subjects. But also notice how he conceded that the whole roof is totaled by hail. And of course… it’s on film.

The adjuster AND AGENT were also there (high value client). The engineer then broke the news to them. The adjuster soon came over and told me that they are approving the roof.
